Indication

Load the sterile lancet into a lancing device, clean the skin, prick the side of a fingertip, then discard the used lancet safely after a single use.

Side effects

• Minor pain at the puncture site
• Slight bruising or bleeding
• Risk of infection if reused or not used aseptically

Precautions

• Single use only
• never share lancets to avoid bloodborne infections
• Do not use if sterile packaging is damaged
• Dispose of used lancets in a sharps container
