Indication
Treatment of essential hypertension in adults where combination therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
- Telmisartan 40 mg
- Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usual dose is one tablet once daily.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Electrolyte disturbances
- Hypotension
Precautions
- Warning: When pregnancy is detected
- discontinue as soon as possible.
- Monitor electrolytes and renal function.
- Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment.
- Not recommended in patients with severe hepatic impairment or anuria.
