Salbutamol Syrup 2 mg / 5 mL

Indication

Treatment and prevention of bronchospasm in patients with reversible obstructive airway disease including asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol Sulfate 2.41 mg (equivalent to Salbutamol 2 mg) per 5 mL

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 5–10 mL 3–4 times daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mL 3–4 times daily. Children 2–6 years: 2.5 mL 3–4 times daily. As directed by physician.

Side effects

• Tremor
• Tachycardia
• Palpitations
• Headache
• Nervousness
• Muscle cramps

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disorders
• hyperthyroidism
• or diabetes.
• Inform doctor of all other medications.
• Consult physician before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
