Hirudoid 0.3 g per 100 g

Indication

- Superficial thrombophlebitis (where massage is not contraindicated) - Bruising and superficial haematoma - Inflammation of superficial veins where massage is appropriate

Ingredients

• Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate 0.3 g per 100 g (0.3%)

Direction

Apply 3 to 5 cm of cream to the affected area up to several times daily and massage in gently. For thrombophlebitis, apply without rubbing.

Side effects

• Local skin irritation
• redness or itching
• Allergic contact dermatitis (rare)

Precautions

• For external use only
• do not apply to open wounds
• broken skin or mucous membranes
• Avoid contact with the eyes
• Discontinue if skin irritation or sensitisation occurs
