Indication
- Dyspepsia and functional gastrointestinal motility disorders - Nausea and vomiting - Gastro-oesophageal reflux symptoms - Adjunct in certain somatic/psychosomatic disorders
Ingredients
- Levosulpiride 25 mg
Direction
Usually one 25 mg tablet taken three times daily before meals, or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and fatigue
- Extrapyramidal symptoms (tremor
- restlessness)
- Elevated prolactin (breast tenderness
- galactorrhoea
- menstrual changes)
- Headache and dizziness
Precautions
- Use with caution in the elderly and in renal impairment
- Avoid in Parkinson's disease
- prolactin
- dependent tumours and phaeochromocytoma
- May raise prolactin and cause extrapyramidal symptoms
- Caution when combined with CNS depressants or alcohol
