Indication

- Bulk-forming laxative for constipation - Promotes regular bowel movements - Helps maintain soft, easily passed stools

Ingredients

• Psyllium (ispaghula) husk 5 g per sachet

Direction

Adults: one sachet (5 g) mixed in a full glass of water, 1–3 times daily, followed by extra fluids. Children 6–12 years: half the adult dose.

• Bloating and flatulence
• Abdominal discomfort
• Allergic reactions (rare)

Precautions

• Always take with plenty of fluid to avoid choking or bowel obstruction
• Do not use in intestinal obstruction or difficulty swallowing
• Separate from other medicines by at least 1–2 hours
