Indication
Symptomatic relief of cough, cold, and upper respiratory tract infections. Combination formula provides antitussive, expectorant, mucolytic, and antihistamine action for relief of cough with phlegm, runny nose, and sneezing.
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide BP 10 mg
- Guaifenesin BP 100 mg
- Bromhexine Hydrochloride BP 8 mg
- Chlorpheniramine Maleate BP 2 mg
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 tablets 3–4 times daily. Children 6–12 years: 1 tablet 3 times daily. As directed by the physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dizziness
- Dry mouth
- constipation
- Nausea
- vomiting
- Difficulty urinating
Precautions
- Do not use with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping MAO inhibitor therapy.
- Avoid alcohol and sedatives during treatment.
- May cause drowsiness
- do not drive or operate machinery.
- Use with caution in patients with asthma
- glaucoma
- or urinary retention.
- Prescription drug.
