Indication

Treatment of psychotic disorders including schizophrenia, anxiety neurosis with inhibition, peptic ulcer, chronic colitis, and vertigo.

Ingredients

• Sulpiride 50 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Typically taken 3 times daily. Swallow capsule whole.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• Extrapyramidal symptoms (tremor
• rigidity)
• Hyperprolactinaemia (galactorrhoea
• amenorrhoea)
• Weight gain
• Tardive dyskinesia with prolonged use

Precautions

• Prescription only medication
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medication
• Use with caution in elderly patients and those with renal impairment
• May impair ability to drive or operate machinery
• Store below 30°C
• Keep out of reach of children
