Pi Yen Chin 1:1000

Indication

Relief of nasal congestion (rhinitis) and ocular congestion (red eyes, conjunctivitis). For nasal and ophthalmic use.

Ingredients

• Naphazoline HCl 1:1000 (0.1%)

Direction

For nose: instil 1–3 drops each time, 3 times daily. For eyes: instil 1–2 drops each time, 2 times daily. Not to be used one month after opening.

Side effects

• Burning or stinging sensation on instillation
• Rebound congestion with prolonged use
• Increased intraocular pressure with ophthalmic use

Precautions

• Do not use for more than 3–5 consecutive days without medical advice
• Not to be used one month after opening
• Use with caution in patients with glaucoma
