Indication
Calcium channel blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine Besilate 10 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usual adult dose: 5–10 mg once daily.
Side effects
- Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
Precautions
- Prescription medicine — use only under medical supervision
- Inform doctor of all other medications being taken
- May cause dizziness — avoid driving if affected
