Indication
Treatment of functional dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux, and gastroparesis. Relieves symptoms of upper abdominal discomfort, bloating, nausea, vomiting, and early satiety by enhancing gastrointestinal motility.
Ingredients
- Itopride Hydrochloride 50 mg
Direction
Adults: one tablet three times daily before meals, or as directed by the physician. Swallow whole with water. Do not store above 30Β°C; protect from sunlight and moisture.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- Headache
- dizziness
- Elevated prolactin levels (rare)
- Allergic reactions (rare)
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to itopride or any ingredient.
- Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
- Concomitant use with anticholinergic drugs may reduce efficacy.
