On Call Plus Blood Glucose Test Strips

Indication

- Quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary whole blood - Used with the On Call Plus meter for self-monitoring of blood glucose in diabetes

Ingredients

• Glucose oxidase enzyme reagent strip (with mediator)

Direction

Insert a strip into the On Call Plus meter, apply a small fresh drop of capillary blood to the strip's sample area, and read the result. Use each strip once.

Side effects

• Minor discomfort or bruising at the fingerstick site
• Rare infection at the puncture site if hygiene is poor

Precautions

• Use only with the matching On Call Plus meter and code/calibration
• Do not use expired or improperly stored strips
• replace cap immediately after removing a strip
• Confirm unexpected high or low results before acting on them
