Indication

Treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome, and postponement of menstruation. Also used as part of hormone replacement therapy.

Ingredients

• Norethisterone 5 mg

Direction

Dosage and schedule depend on the condition being treated, as directed by the physician. For postponement of menstruation: 1 tablet three times daily starting 3 days before expected menstruation, until desired postponement. For endometriosis: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily. Swallow whole. For oral use.

Side effects

• Nausea

• Do not use during pregnancy.
• Do not use in patients with history of liver disease
