Metronidazol Kabi 500 mg / 100 mL

Indication

Metronidazol Kabi is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, including Trichomonas vaginalis, Entamoeba histolytica, and Giardia lamblia. Used for prophylaxis of anaerobic infections in colorectal surgery.

• Metronidazole 500 mg per 100 mL

Direction

For intravenous infusion only. Administer as directed by a physician.

• Peripheral neuropathy with prolonged use
• Phlebitis at infusion site

Precautions

• For intravenous use only
• do not administer by other routes.
• Avoid alcohol during and for 48 hours after treatment.
• Use with caution in hepatic impairment.
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
