Oral Aid Lotion

Indication

- Relief of mouth ulcers and oral lesions - Denture irritation and sore gums - Pain from toothache - Minor inflammation in the mouth

Ingredients

• Lidocaine 2.5%
• chlorhexidine HCl 0.5%
• triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%

Direction

Apply 1-2 drops to the affected area 3-4 times a day. Do not use for more than 5 days without medical advice.

Side effects

• Transient stinging or numbness at the application site
• Altered or bitter taste
• Local irritation
• Rare hypersensitivity reaction

Precautions

• For oral topical use only
• do not swallow large amounts
• Avoid prolonged use due to corticosteroid (triamcinolone) content
• Use with caution in those allergic to local anaesthetics or chlorhexidine
• Consult a doctor if ulcers persist beyond 5
• 7 days
