Micardis Plus 40 mg / 12.5 mg

Indication

Indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults who are not adequately controlled on telmisartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone.

Ingredients

• Telmisartan 40 mg
• Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg

Direction

Take one tablet daily. Can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Follow physician instructions.

Side effects

• Dizziness
• Electrolyte imbalance (low sodium or potassium)
• Dehydration
• Headache
• Urinary tract infection

Precautions

• Not for use during pregnancy
• especially the second and third trimesters.
• Contraindicated in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment.
• Monitor blood pressure
• electrolytes
• and renal function regularly.
• Consult a doctor if you experience dizziness or fainting.
