Indication
Indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults who are not adequately controlled on telmisartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone.
Ingredients
- Telmisartan 40 mg
- Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg
Direction
Take one tablet daily. Can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Follow physician instructions.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Electrolyte imbalance (low sodium or potassium)
- Dehydration
- Headache
- Urinary tract infection
Precautions
- Not for use during pregnancy
- especially the second and third trimesters.
- Contraindicated in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment.
- Monitor blood pressure
- electrolytes
- and renal function regularly.
- Consult a doctor if you experience dizziness or fainting.
