Indication
- Nausea and vomiting - Bloating and abdominal discomfort - Feeling of fullness - Epigastric discomfort
Ingredients
- Domperidone 1 mg/mL
Direction
Use as directed; typically dosed by body weight, taken before meals. Use for the shortest time possible (usually no more than 1 week).
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Rarely cardiac arrhythmia (QT prolongation)
- Rarely elevated prolactin (breast tenderness)
Precautions
- Contraindicated in significant heart disease or QT prolongation
- Use with caution in liver impairment
- Avoid with drugs that prolong the QT interval
- Use lowest effective dose for the shortest duration
