Indication
Relief of nausea, vomiting, bloating, and gastric discomfort.
Ingredients
- Domperidone 5 mg/5 mL
Direction
Take as directed by physician. Usually 10 mg (10 mL) three times daily before meals.
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- Headache
- Abdominal cramps (rare)
- Galactorrhoea with prolonged use (rare)
Precautions
- Not recommended in patients with cardiac conditions — risk of QT prolongation
- Avoid prolonged use
- Use with caution in hepatic impairment
- Not recommended in patients taking CYP3A4 inhibitors
