Indication
- Relief of hyperacidity and heartburn - Acid indigestion and dyspepsia - Symptomatic relief of gastritis and gastric/peptic ulcer - Relief of flatulence and bloating
Ingredients
- Aluminium hydroxide + Magnesium hydroxide + Simethicone (antacid)
Direction
Usually 1-2 tablets chewed or 10-15 mL suspension taken after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Constipation or diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Stomach cramps
- Altered bowel habits with prolonged use
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment
- May reduce absorption of other medicines
- separate doses by 1
- 2 hours
- Avoid prolonged use without medical advice
- Caution in patients on low
- magnesium or low
- sodium diets
