Phosphalugel 12.38 g / sachet

Indication

Relief of burning, discomfort, stomachache, gastric pain, gastritis, gastro-oesophageal reflux, and peptic ulcer.

Ingredients

• Colloidal aluminium phosphate 12.38 g

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: 1 to 2 sachets per intake, 2 to 4 times daily, 30 minutes before or after meals and at bedtime. Shake or knead the sachet before use.

Side effects

• Constipation may occur with prolonged use
• Hypophosphataemia with prolonged use at high doses

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 6 years
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• May reduce absorption of some drugs — take other medications at least 2 hours apart
• Contains aluminium — avoid prolonged use in patients on dialysis
