Linaglip Plus 500 2.5 mg / 500 mg

Indication

Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycaemic control as adjunct to diet and exercise.

Ingredients

• Linagliptin
• Metformin hydrochloride

Direction

Take as directed by physician, usually twice daily with meals. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

• Nausea
• diarrhea
• abdominal discomfort
• hypoglycaemia (when combined with other antidiabetics)
• nasopharyngitis.

Precautions

• Prescription only. Contraindicated in renal impairment (eGFR <30 mL/min/1.73m²). Monitor renal function. Risk of lactic acidosis with metformin.
