Indication

Antibacterial agent for systemic use. Treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria including staphylococci and streptococci.

• Lincomycin hydrochloride

Direction

Take as directed by physician. Complete the full course of treatment. Store at or below 25°C.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhea
• abdominal cramps
• pseudomembranous colitis
• skin rash.

Precautions

• Prescription only. Risk of pseudomembranous colitis. Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lincomycin or clindamycin. Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment.
