Indication
Antibacterial agent for systemic use. Treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria including staphylococci and streptococci.
Ingredients
- Lincomycin hydrochloride
Direction
Take as directed by physician. Complete the full course of treatment. Store at or below 25°C.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- abdominal cramps
- pseudomembranous colitis
- skin rash.
Precautions
- Prescription only. Risk of pseudomembranous colitis. Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lincomycin or clindamycin. Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment.
