Indication
Treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions where a corticosteroid is indicated and where superficial bacterial ocular infection or a risk of bacterial ocular infection exists.
Ingredients
- Tobramycin 3 mg/mL
- Dexamethasone 1 mg/mL
Direction
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac(s) every 4-6 hours. During the initial 24-48 hours, the dosage may be increased to every 2 hours.
Side effects
- Ocular irritation
- Increased intraocular pressure with prolonged use
- Posterior subcapsular cataract formation with prolonged use
- Delayed wound healing
Precautions
- Not for injection
- Do not touch dropper tip to any surface
- Prolonged use may result in secondary infections
- Monitor intraocular pressure with extended use
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
