Indication
Treatment of dermatophyte infections of the scalp, hair, nails, and skin (tinea infections).
Ingredients
- Griseofulvine 500 mg
Direction
Adults: 1 to 2 tablets of 500 mg per day in 2 divided doses with meals and a large glass of water. Children: 10 to 20 mg/kg/day.
Side effects
- Headache
- Nausea
- Photosensitivity
- Skin rash
Precautions
- Take with fatty food to improve absorption
- Not for use in patients with porphyria or liver failure
- Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight
- Consult a doctor before use
