Indication
Treatment of essential hypertension and reduction of cardiovascular risk in adults with established atherothrombotic cardiovascular disease.
Ingredients
- Telmisartan 40 mg
Direction
One tablet once daily. Swallow with water. May be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Diarrhea
- Back pain
Precautions
- Not for use in patients with severe hepatic impairment
- Use with caution in patients with renal artery stenosis
- Monitor blood pressure regularly
- Avoid use during pregnancy
