Indication
Vastarel OD is used as add-on therapy for the symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris in adult patients inadequately controlled by or intolerant to first-line antianginal therapies.
Ingredients
- Trimetazidine dihydrochloride 80 mg
Direction
Take one capsule once daily, preferably in the morning with a meal. Swallow whole.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Rarely: Parkinson
- like symptoms with prolonged use
Precautions
- Not recommended in patients with Parkinson's disease or movement disorders
- Not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Keep out of reach of children
