Indication
Treatment of hyperlipidaemia (types IIa, IIb, IV and V), including hypertriglyceridaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia, as an adjunct to diet.
Ingredients
- Fenofibrate 100 mg
Direction
Take 1 capsule daily with the main meal, or as directed by physician.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal disturbances
- Muscle pain (myopathy)
- Elevated liver enzymes
- Headache
Precautions
- Monitor liver function and CK levels during therapy
- Use with caution in renal impairment
- Avoid in severe hepatic impairment
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
