Indication
Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet, exercise and monotherapy do not provide adequate glycemic control.
Ingredients
- Pioglitazone (as HCl) 30 mg
- Glimepiride USP 4 mg
Direction
Take as directed by physician. Store below 30°C, protect from sunlight and moisture.
Side effects
- Hypoglycemia
- Weight gain
- Edema
- Headache
- Upper respiratory tract infection
Precautions
- Not for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis
- Monitor blood glucose regularly
- Use with caution in patients with heart failure or liver disease
- Keep out of reach of children
