Simva-Denk 20 mg

Indication

Reduction of elevated total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, and triglycerides in patients with primary hypercholesterolaemia or combined hyperlipidaemia.

Ingredients

• Simvastatin 20 mg

Direction

Take 1 tablet once daily in the evening, or as directed by physician. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

• Myopathy / rhabdomyolysis (rare)
• Elevated liver enzymes
• Gastrointestinal disturbances
• Headache

Precautions

• Report muscle pain
• tenderness or weakness immediately
• Monitor liver function
• Avoid grapefruit juice
• Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
