Indication
Voltarène Emulgel is a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory gel (NSAID) used for relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as sprains, strains, sports injuries, back pain, and arthritis of small joints.
Ingredients
- Diclofenac diethylammonium 1.16% (equivalent to diclofenac sodium 1%)
Direction
Apply gently to the affected area 3–4 times daily. Wash hands after application. Do not apply to broken skin or mucous membranes.
Side effects
- Local skin reactions: rash
- redness
- itching
- burning sensation
- Rare systemic absorption effects with extensive application
Precautions
- For external use only
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
- Do not use under occlusive dressings
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 7 days
- Keep out of reach of children
