Indication
Vomena-PD is used in paediatric patients for prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or post-operative procedures.
Ingredients
- Ondansetron 4 mg per 5 ml
Direction
Administer orally as directed by a physician. For children: dose depends on weight and indication. Usually 0.1–0.15 mg/kg per dose.
Side effects
- Headache
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
- Flushing
Precautions
- Use under medical supervision only
- Not for use in patients with hypersensitivity to ondansetron
- Monitor for signs of QT interval prolongation in patients with cardiac conditions
- Keep out of reach of children
