Indication
Treatment and prevention of herpes simplex virus infections (oral and genital herpes), and suppression of recurrent herpes infections.
Ingredients
- Acyclovir 200 mg
Direction
Take as directed by your physician. Usual dose for treatment: 200 mg five times daily for 5 days. For prevention: 200 mg four times daily.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- Skin rash
Precautions
- Ensure adequate fluid intake during therapy
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
- Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice
- Keep out of reach of children
