Indication

Treatment and prevention of herpes simplex virus infections (oral and genital herpes), and suppression of recurrent herpes infections.

Ingredients

• Acyclovir 200 mg

Direction

Take as directed by your physician. Usual dose for treatment: 200 mg five times daily for 5 days. For prevention: 200 mg four times daily.

• Skin rash

Precautions

• Ensure adequate fluid intake during therapy
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice
