Indication
Single-dose anthelmintic for the treatment of intestinal or duodenal parasitosis (parasitose intestinal ou duodenal), including infestations by Ascaris lumbricoides, hookworm, pinworm, whipworm, and threadworm.
Ingredients
- Albendazole 400 mg
Direction
Oral route. Adults and children above 2 years: chew or swallow 1 tablet (400 mg) as a single dose. For Strongyloides or Taenia infections, repeat for 3 consecutive days. Read the package leaflet for full posology.
Side effects
- Mild abdominal pain or nausea
- Headache
- dizziness
- Skin rash (rare)
- Transient elevation of liver enzymes (rare with single dose)
Precautions
- Respect the prescribed dose
- Do not use during pregnancy
- especially the first trimester
- Not recommended in children under 2 years
- Store at temperature below 30 degrees Celsius
- Keep out of reach of children
