Indication

Cimetidine is an H2-receptor antagonist indicated for: evolutive gastric or duodenal ulcer, maintenance treatment of duodenal ulcer, treatment of esophagitis secondary to gastroesophageal reflux, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Direction

Gastric or duodenal ulcer: 1 tablet at breakfast and 1 tablet at bedtime, or 2 tablets at bedtime. Maintenance: 1 tablet at bedtime. Esophagitis: 200 mg to 400 mg, 4 times per day. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: 2 g per day.
