Indication
- Middle ear infections (Otitis media) - Sinusitis - Tonsillitis and pharyngitis - Lower respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium
Direction
Take orally by measuring the dose with the provided syringe or spoon. Usually administered every 12 hours with a meal to reduce stomach upset.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diaper rash in infants
- Oral or vaginal thrush
- Skin rash or hives
Precautions
- Contraindicated in penicillin or cephalosporin allergy
- Monitor liver and kidney function
- History of cholestatic jaundice
- Complete the full course prescribed
