Indication
- Lower respiratory tract infections - Upper respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Acute otitis media in children - Pharyngitis and tonsillitis
Ingredients
- Clarithromycin
Direction
Administer orally every 12 hours for 5 to 14 days. Shake the suspension well before each use and measure with a proper dosing device.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Abnormal metallic taste
- Headache
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics
- History of cholestatic jaundice
- Risk of QT interval prolongation
- Potential for serious drug interactions
- Caution in severe renal impairment
