Duphalac 667 mg/ml

Indication

Constipation: regulation of the colonic physiological rhythm. When soft stool is considered of medical benefit (haemorrhoids, post colonic/anal surgery). Hepatic encephalopathy (HE): treatment and prevention of hepatic coma or precoma. Duphalac is a prebiotic laxative and solves constipation gently in all patients.

• Lactulose 667 mg/ml

Direction

For oral use. Adults and adolescents: starting dose 15-45 ml daily, maintenance 15-30 ml daily. Children (7-14 years): 15 ml starting, 10-15 ml maintenance. Children (1-6 years): 5-10 ml starting and maintenance. Infants under 1 year: up to 5 ml. Read package insert before use.
