Indication
Nexium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and to reduce the risk of NSAID-associated gastric ulcers. It is also used as part of combination therapy for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in patients with peptic ulcer disease.
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate
Direction
The tablets should be swallowed whole with water or dispersed in non-carbonated water. Do not chew or crush the pellets in the tablets.
