Indication
- Amoebiasis - Giardiasis - Trichomoniasis - Anaerobic bacterial infections - Dental infections - Surgical prophylaxis
Ingredients
- Metronidazole
Direction
Take orally, usually two to three times daily as directed by a physician. Shake the bottle well before use and administer with or after food to reduce stomach upset.
Side effects
- Metallic taste in mouth
- Nausea and vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Darkened urine
- Headache or dizziness
- Furry tongue
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol during and after treatment
- Disulfiram
- like reaction with alcohol
- History of blood disorders
- Neurological disease monitoring required
- Use with caution in liver disease
