Indication
For short-term treatment of infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, bone, and joint. Klamentin is bactericidal to a variety of bacteria including beta-lactamases producing microorganisms resistant to ampicillin and amoxicillin.
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin 250 mg
- Clavulanic acid 31.25 mg
Direction
Dissolve the drug in sufficient water (about 5-10 ml for 1 sachet), stir well before use. Take immediately before meals to reduce drug intolerance. Children 3 months and older: 45 mg/kg/day in 2 divided doses for otitis media, sinusitis, respiratory and severe infections; 25 mg/kg/day in 2 divided doses for less severe infections. Duration: 5-10 days, not exceeding 14 days without re-examination, or as directed by physician.

Precautions
- For prescription only
- Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to penicillins and cephalosporins
- Not recommended in severe hepatic and renal impairment
- Avoid in patients with history of jaundice or hepatic dysfunction during penicillin treatment
- Avoid in infectious mononucleosis
- Store in dry places
- not exceeding 30°C
