Indication
Treatment of acute infectious diarrhoea in adults and children. Prevention and treatment of antibiotic-associated colitis and diarrhoea. Adjunct to vancomycin/metronidazole to prevent recurrence of Clostridium difficile disease. Prevention of tube-feeding associated diarrhoea. Treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.
Ingredients
- Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I
- 745 250 mg (lyophilized yeast cells)
Direction
Oral route. 1 to 2 capsules, given once or twice daily.
Side effects
- Rare allergic skin reactions
- Constipation
- Bloating
Precautions
- Do not use in critically ill or immunocompromised patients without medical advice
- Avoid in patients with central venous catheter
- Store away from reach and sight of children
- Store below 30Β°C
