Anofen 20 mg / ml

Indication

Advanced medicine for pain and fever. Relief of fever, pain, muscle and joint inflammation. Provides up to 8 hours relief.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 20 mg per ml (≈ 100 mg per 5 ml)

Direction

Oral. Children 10-12 years: 15 ml, 3 times daily. 7-9 years: 10 ml, 3 times daily. 4-6 years: 7.5 ml, 3 times daily. 1-3 years: 5 ml, 3 times daily. 6-12 months: 2.5 ml, 3-4 times daily. Under 6 months: may be given on the advice of a doctor. Refer to package insert for more details.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal upset (nausea
• abdominal pain)
• Allergic skin reactions
• Rare gastrointestinal bleeding with prolonged use

Precautions

• Not recommended for phenylketonurics
• Avoid in children with bronchial asthma or NSAID allergy
• Keep medicine out of reach of children
• Store at temperature below 30°C
