Indication
Phenergan-type syrup used to treat allergic conditions in adults and children over 2 years old, such as hay fever, rhinitis (seasonal and non-seasonal), rashes/hives, conjunctivitis, and urticaria.
Ingredients
- Promethazine hydrochloride 0.113 g per 100 ml (equivalent to promethazine base 0.100 g)
Direction
Oral route. Read the leaflet carefully before use. Dosage by age and severity as directed by physician.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Dry mouth
- Allergic skin reactions
- Confusion or excitation
- especially in elderly
Precautions
- Contains alcohol 0.9% (37 mg per 5 ml
- 73 mg per 10 ml)
- May cause drowsiness — avoid driving or operating machinery
- Not for children under 2 years
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store below 25°C
- protected from light
