Ascoril Expectorant

Indication

Expectorant, bronchodilator and mucolytic syrup. Used to relieve productive cough associated with bronchospasm and bronchial congestion.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol sulphate (equivalent to Salbutamol) 2 mg per 10 ml
• Bromhexine hydrochloride 4 mg per 10 ml
• Guaifenesin 100 mg per 10 ml
• Menthol 1 mg per 10 ml

Direction

As directed by the physician. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Tremor
• palpitations from salbutamol
• Nausea
• Headache
• Allergic skin reactions

Precautions

• Use only as directed by a physician
• Caution in patients with cardiovascular disease

• hyperthyroidism
• or diabetes
• Keep out of reach of children
