Starcef Cefixime Dry Syrup 100 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic indicated for susceptible bacterial infections in children, including respiratory tract infections, otitis media, urinary tract infections, and pharyngitis/tonsillitis.

Ingredients

• Cefixime trihydrate equivalent to Cefixime anhydrate 100 mg per 5 ml

Direction

On medical prescription only. Reconstitution of dry syrup: add 10 ml of water, shake for 30 seconds; add 10 ml more of water and shake again for 30 seconds. After reconstitution syrup may be kept for 7 days either at room temperature or under refrigeration without significant loss of potency. Keep tightly closed; discard unused portion after 7 days. Shake well before use.
