Indication
Tetracycline-class antibiotic indicated for susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections, acne, and prophylaxis of malaria.
Ingredients
- Doxycycline (as Hyclate) 100 mg
Direction
For oral use. Refer to package insert for dosage and other information.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal upset (nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhoea)
- Photosensitivity
- Esophagitis if taken with insufficient water
- Tooth discoloration in children under 12 years
Precautions
- Not recommended for infants and children below 12 years of age
- Take with full glass of water and remain upright for 30 minutes
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure
- Source of capsule: Bovine
- Store below 30°C
- protect from light and moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
