Indication
Cold remedy. Relieves symptoms of cold such as fever, headache, and nasal congestion. Non-drowsy.
Ingredients
- Acetaminophen 650 mg
- Phenylpropanolamine HCl 15 mg
Direction
Adults: 1 caplet, thrice daily. Children 6-12 years: 1/2 caplet, thrice daily.
Side effects
- Insomnia
- Palpitation
- Dizziness
- Nausea
Precautions
- Not for patients sensitive to sympathomimetic drugs (ephedrine
- pseudoephedrine
- phenylephrine)
- Avoid in severe hypertension and patients on MAO inhibitors
- Use with care in overweight and elderly patients
- Do not use more than directed
- Stop if symptoms persist beyond 3 days
