Hirudoid 0.3 g / 100 g

Indication

- Superficial thrombophlebitis (inflammation of veins just under the skin) - Bruising and haematoma - Soothing relief of superficial soft-tissue swelling

Ingredients

• Heparinoid 0.3% w/w (0.3 g per 100 g)

Direction

Apply a small amount (about 5 cm of cream) to the affected area up to several times daily and massage gently into the skin. Do not use on broken skin or in children under 5 years.

Side effects

• Local skin irritation or redness at the site of application
• Allergic contact dermatitis or rash in sensitive individuals
• Rarely
• skin thinning with prolonged use

Precautions

• Do not apply to broken skin
• open wounds
• mucous membranes or near the eyes
• Do not use over large areas of skin
• Not recommended in children under 5 years
• Stop use and seek advice if a rash or allergic reaction occurs
